The play opens with a group of guys assembled for cards in the messy apartment of divorced Oscar Madison. Late to arrive is Felix Unger a clean freak who has just been separated from his wife. The clash of personalities provides humor and personal insight as the slob and the tidy guy ultimately decide to room together with hilarious results.
